Lancaster MusicFest 2022

After a two-year hiatus in 2020 and 2021 due to challenges with hosting live events during the pandemic, we are thrilled to announce that Lancaster MusicFest is back for 2022!  SmartHub Foundation will host its third annual Lancaster MusicFest outdoor music festival at Buchanan Park on September 10, 2022 from 12 Noon until 8pm, featuring local and regional music artists. Once again, Lancaster MusicFest will feature local cuisine from Lancaster-area food trucks, a beer garden featuring craft beer from local brewers, local artisans and makers, street performers, and plenty of space to relax with friends, all in a fresh air festival environment just minutes from downtown Lancaster.

Our goal continues to be to amplify the impact that local organizations are having in the Lancaster community.  Lancaster MusicFest 2022 will benefit Children’s Miracle Network and the Music Therapy Program at Penn State Children’s Hospital.  New for 2022, Lancaster MusicFest is partnering with the Library System of Lancaster County and its 2022 Summer Reading Program “Oceans of Possibilities.”  Kids under 17 who complete the Summer Reading Program receive a free t-shirt with the purchase of an adult general admission ticket (ticket must be purchased by August 28, 2022).

Artists currently scheduled to perform include Adam & The Weight, Dimestore Dolls and Alexis Cunningham.  Others to be announced.

Tickets are $25 in advance, $40 the day of the show, and are on sale now.  For tickets and more information, visit lancastermusicfest.com.

More than 10 million kids enter a children’s hospital like Penn State Children’s Hospital across North America every year. To provide the best care for kids, children’s hospitals rely on donations and community support, as Medicaid and insurance programs do not fully cover the cost of care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has helped fill those funding gaps by raising more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through Miracle Balloon icon campaigns. Its various fundraising partners and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
